a wonderful four-step look behind the scenes of how Auntie Lara's artisanal cookies come to life—from mixing and baking to packaging.
A portrait of Joseph Codrington smiling against a plain white background, wearing a green collared shirt under a dark blazer with a small lapel pin.

My husband, Joseph, and I have shared 42 wonderful years together so far. In that time, I’ve learned he has three great loves: our family, Track and Field, and a truly great  Oatmeal Raisin cookie. For decades, I’ve stood by his side as he served as Sports Agent for our professional track athletes and our league – North American Track&Field League (NATFL).

Along that journey, we sampled countless oatmeal cookies, but none ever hit the mark. We decided to create our own – a cookie fueled by Joseph’s high standards and my fondness for baking.

After many “test heats” in our kitchen, we finally crossed the finish line with our signature recipe: Auntie Lara’s. What started as a family treat quickly became a favorite of our family, friends and league athletes, eventually we named it the Official Cookie of the NATFL.

Now we are stepping off the track and into the market. We hope you enjoy every bite of Auntie Lara’s Oatmeal Sweets.
